Week 10, Day 1
Wilson's idea of "peace without victory" was a concept that was simple but to unrealistic. What this idea meant was that we should seek a compromise or "peace" instead of finding a way to win a war. Wilson inputted this idea when he began the negotiations in the Treaty of Versailles in France. Wilson's idea was to idealistic at the time unfortunately. He wanted for all the countries to come to an agreement instead of going to more losses of men and money to be a clear victor. This concept would have let countries come to a compromise and let each one get a fair share of what they wanted. This idea was a great one but it was to difficult to accomplish when not everyone was on board.
