Week 10, Day 2

Word has reached across the ocean that Hitler and his Nazi Germany have invaded Poland. We America have not picked sides yet and our friends, France and Britain, are in great danger. I believe that we must go forth and join the Allies in a fight against the Axis powers. Since the Soviet Union signed a nonaggression pact with Germany, Hitler is free to take over the rest of the Western hemisphere of Europe if he so pleases and we must prevent this from happening. Adolf Hitler’s ignorance of the Treaty of Versailles poses danger to our homeland. He is a madman and he will take the US without warning if we don’t stand up for our countries off shore
